The Birisha Baptist Church sanctuary construction was completed just in time for the Kieni West Women's Conference November 16-18.
Now in its second year, there were about 80 people in attendance including several women who walked many kilometers just to be there. The love, commitment, and dedication that these women have for the Lord is very moving. The theme of the annual conference was "Encouraging Each Other as We Stay Connected," taking its inspiration from Hebrews 10:23-25.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
