On Wednesday, July 10, the team from ACTS Fellowship in Greenville, S.C. said goodbye to their family at 5:45 p.m. and began their journey to Romania for this year's Gypsy Camp. After a delay in Munich, they arrived just after 7:00 p.m. (around noon in South Carolina). That's a long trip!
Attila Toth picked them up and the team spent some time with his family before heading to the campgrounds.
Everyone arrived Friday morning, and got straight to work unpacking supplies and getting everything ready to go.
They got through camp basics like room assignments and rules, and got right down to the good stuff with a quick game of Simon Says to warm everyone up. Then Jeni and Adele told the kids the story of the Good Samaritan.
This year's camp is off to a great start!
