We've had two full days of being with God's people in worship at Jerusalem Acts Fellowship Church in Iringa and the Ushindi Center Acts Fellowship Church! Sunday morning we began worship at Jerusalem Church, the first Acts Fellowship Church in Tanzania, with Rev. Michael Chadibwa. This church has grown so much and has had a great impact on the community.
Our second worship was with the downtown Acts Church at Ushindi Center. Our first part of the worship service was baptism of 5 followers of Jesus Christ. Our second celebration in worship was the dedication of 14 children with Rev. Clay Waldrip leading this part of the worship. Clay wrapped up his portion of the service by leading the congregation in the Lord's Supper. Floyd brought the message for the day. The service concluded the church prayers. It was a full day!
After leaving the church, we headed home for a delicious meal.Monday the teaching seminars began:
Clay Waldrip began teaching the book of Philippians to the pastors and church leaders.
Bonnie taught the contribution of women in Church Leadership.
Kathy Waldrip taught teenagers who have finished grade 7 on the challenges facing Christian teenagers addressing their values.
Floyd taught on Ephesians 4:11 (He gave apostles, prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers)
This was a great day of teaching, engaging one another, great questions, and singing.
We finished the day by worshiping with the DBLCH children and staff. We had a great a time!
We continue tomorrow. Thank you all for your prayers walking this time with us.
