Sunday was a great day of worship, giving, and celebrating in advance the birth of Amani, Maka and Suma's first child.
We began our day with Ibrahim Casaballa and his wife at their church, Acts Fellowship Kitwiru.
The church is located in a village 30 minutes from iringa. We were greeted by a line of children singing and waving. The church was packed with close to 200 people. You can see from the people waving goodbye when we left. The choirs sang.
I was touched by a lady in a wheelchair when I saw her joyfully role to the front with her offering. The people had built ramps for her to worship with them.
Rev. Clay Waldrip preached on the goodness of God.
Then we drove to Acts Fellowship Ushindi Center, Iringa.
A part of worship today included celebrating the birth of a child. The grandfather of the child brought a testimony of God's goodness and protection of his granddaughter. Another couple has a son with cerebral palsy. We prayed for and with them. Floyd preached at Ushindi Center.
After lunch the DBLCH children came by. FBC Chester had sent new underwear for them in all sizes. The church also sent soccer balls and a basketballs. The children I also received self charging flashlights from Eastern.
We finished the day packing our clothes.
