It's been an incredible day of being together again and introducing Kathy to life in Tanzania!
We were up and headed to Dar Airport Terminal one as the city came to life. The early flight to Iringa from Dar was beautiful. When we arrived, Neema, Maka, and Mpeli greeted us with hugs.
Bonnie and Neema's greeting says it all!
We were surprised with a police escort with blue lights blazing all the way to the Children's Home.
We had three awesome meals today. Always too much and always too delicious!
Maka's wife Suma came to join us at the downtown church as we practiced for graduation and then ordination—she's expecting in December!
We headed home for meeting the children and dinner. Nothing compares to the welcome at DBLCH by the children singing and dancing! This year they added waving green branches - so special - as they sang welcome. We joined them in singing , all greeted the children and joined them in payer.
Our day starts at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning with the Cornerstone Bible Academy graduation ceremony. After that is the ordination of church leaders followed by a fellowship meal. Join us in prayer for all those embarking on a new stage of their life tomorrow.
More to follow tomorrow. For now it's bed time!
